PAUL STAFFORD
Paul learnt the basics of photography and printing in Aix en Provence (France) in the mid 70's and developed an interest in both Black & White and Colour photography, preferring to use black and white film to shoot people, but colour for landscape work.
He considers photography to be the ultimate communication tool, simple, instant, and yet highly effective. The medium can reach anyone, irrespective of language, culture or education and generate a range of emotions without the need to explain or intellectualise. Paul has travelled extensively particularly enjoying Japan, Spain, Ecuador, Cuba and Tunisia.
He has exhibited many times, both as part of group exhibitions in both the UK and France.
Paul has a keen interest in Cuba, its culture and above all else its people.
